Week 27

As we get closer to the days of the NYS ELA and Math tests, we are preparing with some practice in class. You might also notice that the Wednesday writing homework will be different in order to help your child have consistent practice. Starting next week, your child will receive handouts with written prompts similar to tasks given on the ELA tests. This will take the place of the writing entry from the Observation Menu. The sheet will be given out on Monday and will be due on Thursday.

Here's what to expect for next week:

• Our Readathon sheets are due in class. Please help your child add up the minutes of reading done over the course of the weeks and send in the money you might have collected from the sponsors. Even if your child did not have sponsors, please send in the sheet so you child could participate. 
• We will have Dance on Monday. Please remind your child to wear clothes suitable for movement and easily removable socks.
• Schools will be closed on Friday due to Good Friday.
