Week 35

The kids had a fun time with the first Science Day Out at PS 154. There were so many activities we were completed entertained the whole time.

We also had a great time at Brooklyn Museum. We want to thank our chaperones, Dorothy's, Eleanor's, Michael's and Lucas's moms for coming to the Brooklyn Museum with us!

Here's what is happening next week:
  • Monday will be Heart Health Day. Students are encouraged to wear red and participate in a Jumpathon to raise awareness of a heart healthy lifestyle.
  • We are going to start our final math unit on Shapes. This unit will help children not just identify shapes and figures, but to use math terminology to define them. Here are some links to introduce you to the subject:
  • We are going to the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Wednesday. We will see the DanceAfrica show featuring dancers from the African country of Rwanda. Our chaperones have been informed and we will be back at school for a sixth period lunch.
Have a wonderful weekend!
