Week 15

Due to the fact we are going on a field trip on Monday, we will eat lunch at 1:00 pm back at the school. We are asking each family to make sure your child has eaten breakfast on Monday and to send in a snack for your child to have after the trip.
Thank you!
Here's what expect for next week:
  • We are going to the College of Staten Island to see a show. Holiday Tales is a performance that teaches about the different celebrations of the world. We have two parent volunteers for chaperones.
  • We starting a new math unit next week. This unit will take children focus on learning different ways to solve multiplication facts. It will also ask for missing factors, which is a precursor to division facts. It is helpful for your child to continue practicing multiplication facts. Many kids have said they've practiced at home with an adult or older sibling.  To make it more challenging and exciting, try mixing up the order of the facts or asking missing factor questions ( 3 times what will make 15?) Here are some links to practice with:

Have a great weekend! Happy Hanukah to our families who celebrate the Festival of Lights.
