Week 35

We've had an extremely busy week and you can check out some of it on our video playlist. The Music Recital and our DanceAfrica workshop were two highlights of our week. We also had a visit from Ted and Betsy Lewin, authors of Gorilla Walk

Field Day was a great way to cap the week, especially with the best weather we can ask for! It will be hard to top this week.

Here's what to expect for next week:

  • Our Dance performance will take place on Monday at the Multimedia room from 9 to 10 am. Please join us then!
  • The final Parent Teacher Evening Conferences will be held on Tuesday from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. These optional meetings are a good time to check in on your child's progress and perhaps make some plans for summer learning. If you requested a meeting, your time is listed in your child's homework folder in the weekly comment section.
  • Wednesday will be the day of the Third Grades trip to BAM DanceAfrica. Chaperones have already been selected and we will leave at 9:45 to get to the show.
  • Our second visit to the Brooklyn Museum will happen on Friday. We will examine Masks from around the world as a continuation of our last visit which focused on African Masks.
  • We will also have a new child join our class on Monday!
The Chapter 12 Math test was given back to your child on Tuesday. If you have not done so already, please review and sign it.

Have a beautiful weekend!
