Week 27: Class code for Zearn

We've had an unusual week in terms of school attendance. If for any number of reasons your child has missed school or will miss school, please check here for any supplemental school work. Children are also carrying their Math workbook with them. Please keep the workbook in your child's book bags so that it will come to school with your child. We want everyone to make the best choices for their health without worrying about falling behind academically.

Here are some links to review what we've been learning in class:

In math, we have been working on locating fractions on a number line. This is lesson 15 and 16. Next week, we will work on lessons 17, 18, 21 and 22. The following link is to all the homework sheets in module 5 including the lessons listed above. Please also feel free to check in with your child's Zearn account to get instructional support for each lesson.  Our class code is BB6G4R.  If your child was in class on Friday, they received another sign in card with your at home log in information.  This card was given out with the first report card previously.

Children should also continue reading their independent chapter books in order to keep up their stamina and focus over time.

New York City has put out materials for families to use during a prolonged absence. Here is the link to that website:

Finally, here is a child friendly video to help teach about the COVID- 19 virus if your child has questions about it.
