Week 38

Lately, there has been a lot of candy and gum being brought into class and eaten when it is not supposed to be. Please encourage your child not to do this and if necessary, do not provide your child with these treats.

There will no longer be a reading response sheet sent home for homework this week. This work will continue in class as we begin to make plans for each child's summer reading. Please continue to send back any library books borrowed from our classroom.

Here's what's happening next week:

• Schools are closed for a Clerical Day on Monday. 
• The class will perform their play on Thursday. Please look back at last week's post to see when your child will be performing.
• Thursday is also the day of the Father's Day Cookie Sale. All cookies will be $5.
• Schools will be closed on Friday for Eid al Fitr.

Week 37

As we finish off this year, please encourage your child to return to the class any books borrowed from the class library.

The Third Grade theater production will take place for our class on Thursday, June 14. Student who are on Team Washington will perform starting at 10:00 am. Team Washington consists of: Penny, Caroline, Dylan, Tommasi, Emmett, Sophie, Charlotte, Olivia, Kay, Yaroslav, Jacob, Isabelle, Dyani and Valerie.

Students who are on Team Jefferson will perform starting at 1:00 pm.
Team Jefferson consists of: Henry, Kylie, Darkell, Iker, Jackie, Celia, Harper, Darshan, Jake, Rachel, Link, Noam and Jonah.
